Prayers from our Junior Church

Members of our Junior Church were asked to compose some prayers relevant to One World Week. Here's what they came up with. Click on each image to see it in more detail.

Thank you for the world so sweet,
Thank you for the food we eat,
Thank you for the birds that sing,
Thank you God for everything.
Amen.

Dear God
Thank you for letting me get to England safely, and that I got into a good school.
Amen.

If you believe,
You will receive,
everything you ask for in prayer.

For health and friends and daily food,
We praise Thy name, Oh Lord.
Amen.

Please help all the people living in poverty,
and people who aren't as fortunate as us.
Amen.

Dear Lord
We pray for all those who have lost people they love. Help them to remember the times they have shared with them.
We thank you God for the creation of this wonderful world that we live in.
And help those who are in a difficult situation.
Amen.

Father
We thank you for the night
and for the pleasant morning light
for rest and good and loving care and all that makes the days so fair.
Help us to do the things we should, to be to others kind and good,
in all we do in work and play to grow more loving everyday.
Amen.
