The Mission Statement of the Methodist Church
The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the Gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.
The Aims of the Methodist Church
Inspired by our calling, we aim:
- to increase awareness of God's presence and to
celebrate God's love
- to help people to grow and learn as Christians through mutual support and care
- to be a good neighbour to people in need and to challenge injustice
- to make more followers of Jesus Christ
How we in Beckenham aspire to these aims
In Beckenham we work towards these aims, by:
- providing a rich variety of
worship, Christian teaching, and other devotional meetings;
- sponsoring a range of other activities for all age groups;
- providing accomodation for external organisations;
- undertaking
outreach in the local community and involvement in national and world-wide issues.
The Bromley Circuit
Beckenham Methodist Church is a part of The Bromley Methodist Circuit. The other churches in the circuit are:-

The London District
Bromley Methodist Circuit is a constituent of the London District of the Methodist Church of Great Britain. This district includes all the circuits within the compass of the M25 motorway
